Stronger Connective Tissues W Overcoming Isometrics

Muscle building is great and something I like to engage in often. But what about “Tendon Building?” Instead of making our muscles bigger/stronger why not the tissue that connects them to the bone? After all tendon injuries over the years have not been going down they’ve been going up.

Especially with the Achilles tendon in sports.

If it was well known that our connective tissues could be strengthened would this be occurring at the rate that it is?

There is a way to undo this trend to fight back. This can be done with training. But as someone in my YouTube comment section mentioned diet also plays an important role. This is something you’ll find out as you progress but certain ingredients, at least for me, make me feel like the Tin Man from The Wiz…

But the intense contraction of our muscles, at long muscle lengths, and for an extended period of 20 -40s, can build up our connective tissues. This can be done with progressive calisthenics. This can be done by overcoming isometrics. Muscle control might be different however keep in mind that bones can be maintained/strengthened through static contractions. If static contractions affect bone then they probably affect the tendon. Just do it at long muscle lengths.
