I built a decent amount of size through progressive calisthenics back in the day. 2014 to be exact. Progressive calisthenics is taking bodyweight exercises from their easiest variation to modifying leverage and angle so that very few people can execute a movement. Anybody can use this. A young man can utilize archer push-ups (or any advanced variation) in his workout to gain strength and muscle meanwhile an older individual can use push-ups with his hands on an elevated surface to do the same. These two individuals are both at their peak capabilities and using a movement they can only do a certain number of repetitions.

The funny thing is that at the end of college, I was nowhere near the higher difficulties when I first built my size.

Early on I saw a glimpse of what the human body was capable of. I later found out there were other methods as well. These other methods revolve around our ability to increase the contractile capabilities of our muscles as well as the strength of our connective tissues.

One of them seeks to improve this capability through exerting force on various unyielding or unmovable objects. This is known as Overcoming Isometrics. The other method improves this capability through the progressive activation/relaxation of various muscles but is different in its approach from what one would see during a bodybuilding competition. This is what I refer to as Contraction Isometrics. There is a long history of these two other methods as well so you'll see quotes and pictures of its various practitioners throughout.

In a world of "Lift this weight" and "Consume this protein powder," I was fortunate enough after some digging to find a path where none of this was needed. But I realize that not many people know about these other methods. So I wish to change that.

So this is what this e-book is about. Everything you need to build strength, muscle, and speed without any of the stuff the fitness influencer folk are trying to sell you.

Someone - "Well, aren't you trying to sell us this book?"

Me - "Shhhh this is different"

So come one come all.
